In 2011, in "Zveroplemzavod Savvatevo" has created a new fox farm. Specialty of this farm is silver-black fox of long-haired type. The breeding nucleus of farm totaled 110 animals (85 females and 25 males) which was imported from Olsztyn Storkholm ’s farm(Opdal, Norway). Animals of the Norwegian type we breed in clean conditions and for more quickly increasing of the number we use industrial crossing of Norwegian breeding males with Russian breeding females imported from the best Russian farms ("Vyatka" Kirov region, "Pushkin" and "Saltykov" Moscow Region). Among crossbred animals we select animals with high reproductive ability and Norwegian type of hair.
The main livestock of farm for 3 years increased by more than 3 times:
1) in 2012, there were 274 females and 828 breeding cubs;
2) in 2013, there were 653 females and 1,939 breeding cubs;
3) in 2014, there were 1050 females.
The main technology of breeding is artificial insemination. The fox farm is equipped with Finnish type cellular sector with feeders and systems of auto-watering of Finnish company NORKAR. In primary processing of fox skins we use Scandinavian technology and equipment of the Finnish company ERKO.
In our farm you can buy fox cubs: purebred Norwegian type males and crossbred Norwegian-Russian males and females. We guarantee high quality of delivered for sale breeding cubs and are ready to cooperate with customers from any region of Russia. For our clients we provide services for the design and equipment of the fox farms, training in how to properly and economically viable to breed fox using the technology of artificial insemination and Scandinavian technology of processing skins.
